AMANDA HEETHUIS

My name is Amanda Heethuis. I am an eighth grade English/Language Arts teacher a Mona Shores Middle School, where I have been for five years. As an alumni of Mona Shores, I also wanted to give back to the school that gave me so much by working as the varsity head sideline and competitive cheer coach, something I have been doing for ten years. In August I will complete the last two courses in the MAET Master's Degree program at Michigan State University. I am an avid reader, a wife, and a mother to Lennon Grace, born on Christmas evening in 2015.
